Trip to Faslane Naval Base

Primary 5 were recently very lucky to have the opportunity to visit Faslane Naval Base.  The class had been studying the curricular theme of The Titanic along with the help of out B.Ed 4 student, Miss Scullion.  Miss Scullion very kindly arranged this visit to allow the pupils the opportunity to see ships in action.  This was also an excellent opportunity for the pupils to experience the world of work as they had demonstrations for the Police sniffer dogs, the fire service, the Marines and a trip out on a Police Patrol boat.  All children thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful experience and would like to thank all involved for their help in making this a memorable day!
